Principality Stadium's Santa's Grotto 2017

I was recently asked by Sid Scott and Alison Callaghan to come and be a part of their team for dressing the Swalec Stadium Christmas Parties. This is a project that they have taken on for several years, and this year's theme was to be "Hollywood." It was to be glamorous, with that hint of Christmas!

Whilst there, I was asked to help transform 3 function rooms; the main hall, the entrance hallway, and the Legend's Lounge.

To dress these, we hung drapes in varying golds and reds, with many fairy lights all over, plus dressing in Christmas trees, table centre pieces and the like.

I had a wonderful time, and it looked fantastic afterwards... Check out the photos below...!

The light-up stars dressed in to the table centres really gave the place a beautiful, elegant Christmassy feeling! Though not so clear, the main stage had two huge, golden Oscars on either side!

A huge 3m Christmas tree had to be dressed to be placed next to the stage. Repeat to self: do not get wrapped up in never-ending Christmas lights!

The entrance had to make guests feel special as they walked in, so their entrance was a glamorous Hollywood Walk of Fame!

The Legend's Lounge was dressed with gold drapes in the windows, backed with hanging fairy lights. We then dressed the pillars with red drapes, gold wrapping, and wound more fairy lights into this.
