Period Architecture Re-Creation - Set Building
A large project I was given in my first year of university was to visit St Fagan's National Museum of History with my group to measure, photograph, draw up and build a piece of period architecture. After creating tech drawings of the piece, we were given 5 days in a workshop to build and paint the piece, as if it were being made for a set. It was then brought into the television studios, where we were taught to use the studio equipment, including the lights and floor cameras, to create a 10 minute TV show, which we were to edit and present. Below is a photo of the finished set in the workshop. We were very proud of our work!
